FAQ: What is the maximum number of load modules that can be paralleled?

Up to three load mainframes with modules have been successfully paralleled. Additional units are also possible. However, you must compensate for the input snubber capacitance as more paralleled modules are added. The following are the snubber capacitor values for the load modules:

N3302A: (2 Ω in parallel 0.022 µF) in series with 2.2 µF
N3303A: 2.15 Ω in series with 1 µF
N3304A: (2 Ω in parallel 0.022 µF) in series with 2.2 µF
N3305A: (1 Ω in parallel 0.05 µF) in series with 2.7 µF
N3306A: 1 Ω in series with 4.4 µF
N3307A/N3304A#J03: (2 Ω in parallel 0.022 µF) in series with 1 µF

Note that you can only parallel load modules with identical voltage ratings.

Applies to: N3300A, N3301A, N3302A, N3303A, N3304A, N3305A, N3306A, N3307A
